Refund Policy

Important: Champion Shipping Logistics LLC is an auto transport broker. Our refund policy applies to broker service fees. Carrier-specific charges are governed by the carrier's own policies, which are outlined in your Transport Order Agreement.

1. Cancellation Before Carrier Assignment

If you cancel your transport order before a carrier has been dispatched to your vehicle, you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit or broker fee paid.

To cancel before carrier assignment:

  • Submit a written cancellation request
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

2. Cancellation After Carrier Assignment

Once a carrier has been assigned and accepted your transport order, the following applies:

  • Broker fee: Non-refundable once carrier dispatch occurs, as services have been rendered in securing the carrier.
  • Carrier deposit (if paid): Subject to the carrier's cancellation policy, which varies. Some carriers charge a cancellation fee.
  • We will advocate on your behalf with the carrier to minimize any cancellation charges.

3. Cancellation After Vehicle Pickup

Once your vehicle has been picked up and is in transit, cancellation is not possible. The transport must be completed. In exceptional circumstances (carrier-initiated cancellation), we will assist in finding an alternative carrier and discuss resolution on a case-by-case basis.

4. Deposits

Some shipments require a deposit at time of booking:

  • Deposits are fully refundable if cancelled before carrier assignment
  • Deposit terms are outlined clearly in your Transport Order Agreement before you commit
  • We will always inform you of the deposit amount and refund policy before you pay

5. Carrier Cancellations

In the rare event that a carrier cancels after accepting your order:

  • We will immediately begin searching for a replacement carrier at no additional cost to you
  • If a replacement cannot be found within a reasonable timeframe, you may request a full refund
  • We will refund all fees paid if we cannot fulfill the service

6. No-Show Policy

If no authorized representative is present at the agreed pickup time and the carrier is unable to load the vehicle:

  • The carrier may charge a dry-run fee (typically $75–$150)
  • A new pickup appointment must be scheduled
  • Broker fees already paid are not refundable for no-shows

7. Damage Claims – Refund of Transport Fee

If your vehicle sustains damage during transport:

  • Damage claims are filed against the carrier's cargo insurance — NOT the broker
  • The transport fee is not automatically refunded due to damage
  • We will assist you throughout the claims process
  • In cases of egregious carrier failure, we will consider partial broker fee refund on a case-by-case basis

8. Payment Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding payment or believe you were incorrectly charged:

  • Contact us at info@championshippinglogistics.com or (619) 414-4952 first
  • We will review and respond within 5 business days
  • Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of service
  • All payment disputes are handled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions

9. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement
